This place provides vital assistance to people in need (food, clothing, toiletries) and covers 18 communities in Hampshire county (650,000 pounds of food per year) with the help of 150 volunteers per week and hundreds of donations of food and most importantly money. Money is the best thing to donate because they buy food in bulk and can get more food worth that money from food bank. When I was younger I would always do the can drive at my synagogue CBI. It is important that you donate if you are able because if you aren't able to feed your family the Survival Center has your back. I know this because I recently became a (pantry coordination) volunteer. It's sad that so many people suffer from lack of food, but there is always something that can be done!
Everything is of quality, fresh veggies and herbs from the garden that you can pick yourself, books to take home for both children and adults and clothing. They really do care about the community. They'll discuss options and recipes for the foods you pick with vegan,gluten-free and vegetarian options. I love it..
Very groovy, except for that Susan woman, she's got no propriety and she doesn't even know it. Other then that/ her, tis great.
Top pantry in area, staff both hired and volunteer are super nice and helpful. Don't know where a lot of us low income citizens would be without them.
People are very great understanding compassionate here and love to help you. Once a month you can go get a big months worth of food and weekly go for fresh fruit and vegetables. Staff works with you off you have any issues they arewilling to work with you.l
