I took the beginner intensive Spanish course with my wife. We had Beth as a teacher and eight people in the class. It was a fantastic experience. Beth and my classmates were very supportive even though I was way out of my comfort zone and league. Beth made learning relative and fun. The class also fit into our busy schedules. Thank you, ILI!!
My 15-year old son and I recently took a weeklong intensive Spanish class for Elementary-level students. It was a wonderful week and we both finished feeling that our Spanish-speaking skills and our understanding of vocabulary and grammar were improved. Our instructor, Samira, used various teaching methods to enable our understanding.
I just finished a week's Spanish intensive and the teacher was fantastic. She was very upbeat and encouraging. Definitely made me think about taking more classes here.
I'm currently taking a Spanish course here, and it's absolutely wonderful! The teaching model here isn't like your high school or college language classes; you actually speak the language right away! In the first class (beginner level), the class was entirely in Spanish for the first 45 minutes!! You might think that it was hard to follow, but I came out never feeling lost or like the teacher was going too fast for me. This is real language learning; not obsessing over grammar charts and worksheets, but rather listening and speaking, picking up the grammar along the way. I HIGHLY recommend taking language courses here. 10/10
I have taken several classes at ILI over the past couple of years and they have all helped me in my goal to speak Spanish. There's a great atmosphere and friendly, talented teachers. Bravo!
