Nothing but good things to say, helpful, knowledge staff. When all is said and done the end result looks great. Takes time to do the job right, a spare vehicle in the family while one daughter is away sure helped!
As good as it gets. I have been here twice, (accident prone) and the fact that I am willingly admitting that in a review shows how pleased I am with Acme and their services. I am absolutely blown away by the quality of customer service that I received here. Every single person I dealt with was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Not once did I feel out of the loop about the progress of the repairs on my vehicle. My latest visit was a pretty serous accident, and was right outside of the body shop. I came in immediately after with my car, and Ray, the service agent I dealt with assured that I was okay and made me feel so comfortable in such a stressful and miserable time. They originally quoted me a longer wait time to get my car back, under the impression that I had rental on my insurance (I understand why the wait time was long, this place is the best in the area), after I let them know that I was paying out of pocket for my rental they assured me that they would do everything that they could to get it done sooner, and they finished almost 10 days earlier than my insurance company had projected! The car looked amazing, and they even vacuumed and cleaned the inside. I explained the day before that I was on a tight time schedule and had to pick up the car before work, and he had the car running and ready out front for me when I picked it up! They recognize the little things that make a BIG difference. It took about 5 minutes to go over paperwork and I was on my way. I would recommend this place to ANYONE looking to get quality repairs and great service. If there is a wait- it's only because they are an outstanding company with many loyal customers. Worth the wait- I've heard horror stories of other auto centers in the area. Support local business and go to Acme. This may sound like an ad- but its just a really, really satisfied customer who recognizes that many businesses forget about the value of quality customer service.
I went to this shop today after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment. When I initially spoke to the receptionist 3 weeks ago, I told her I would EVENTUALLY go through insurance, but was looking around for estimates from a woman who hit my car in December. I went there today and the receptionist looked at me as if I was insane when I said I did not have the quote from the insurance company with me and said they would talk to me, but not even look at my car. I waited with my boyfriend for 10 minutes for Rob, while the receptionist spoke with another employee about other customers negatively. Rob came out and immediately seemed bothered and annoyed with having to work with me. He said at least six times "should of brought the quote, makes a biiiig difference". When we actually got to my car he kept talking over my boyfriend loudly and almost scolding me for not bringing a quote of papers. My boyfriend works on cars and has for several years, but doesn't do body work, and could immediately tell they were ripping me off. He refused to give me any kind of quote and said it would be "pointless if I already have a quote, I'm not going to give you a new one".
Needless to say we left, will not return, and I have already made an appointment to get it fixed elsewhere. And they did NOT have to look at my quote.
Somewhat surprised at some of the reviews here, I've used them twice (my own and my wife's cars) both times were hit by others. (and am actually bringing my wife's car in tomorrow for a third time) and both times they were the epitome of courtesy and professionalism. The work was flawless and am 100% happy with them and as I said I'm bringing my wife's car in tomorrow, someone backed into her. I don't know if their turn around time is long but as I have loss-of-use coverage we have a free rental so it is a moot point. They are perfectionists on the repairs so perhaps that may be why their turn-around time is long. Also they are booked out a couple of weeks so they might not be able to start on it for a while but again loss of us coverage took care of that too if the car isn't driveable. I know of someone who needed work done and didn't want to file an insurance claim so asked for a quote for out of pocket cost and they were higher than who they ended up going with so that might be a factor for some
Absolutely excellent service. Did a wonderful job repairing my vehicle (looks fantastic!), as well as dealing with the insurance/rental car place. Couldn't recommend them highly enough, everyone should use Acme Auto for repairs.
