We like the spacious, laid-back atmosphere at Platform, so we included them as one of the stops on our wedding day bar crawl in December! Jeremiah and Jessica were great to work with in order to make sure everything went smoothly, and our guests had an awesome time!
Good music good price drinks
Visited with my father during lunch. We ordered the crab cake appetizer, the black and blue burger, and the chili lime chicken wrap. Crab cakes were very nice, packed with crab meat and fried perfectly. The remoulade sauce was good but not amazing. Both of our meals came with a TON of fries. They were nicely colored but could have used a bit more salt. My father enjoyed his burger and it looked good too. I had the chicken wrap, which I generally liked, but the "chili lime" chicken tasted pretty plain and was kind of dry and over cooked. I liked the avocado, bacon, and sauce in the wrap with it. I would go here again as there were other things on the menu that sounded delicious.
The worst bar I have ever been to. Bartenders completely ignored men and would assist any woman first, then get around to you when they felt like it. When he finally assisted me, he was incredibly rude and made it obvious that he didn't want to help me. Drink was terrible as well. So if you like terrible service, awful drinks and a dead bar, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, go to one of the many other great bars in the area like Toasted Owl, Tunnel Bar or FitzWilly's. Don't waste your money here.
On Nov. 11th my daughters arranged a birthday party for me. It couldn't have been better!! The wait staff and management were attentive to all our needs and so accommodating, servers were always available for all the guests. The food was fresh, hot, wonderful and plentiful, beautiful, crisp, white linen draped the buffet tables. The tables were arranged so we could dance and mingle as our dj played music. A perfect party place and confirmation when all the guests express what a great time they had. Thank you so much Platform Sports Bar for a memorable birthday!!
