I support local businesses as much as possible. But it is absolutely disgusting to me that a business would not care what a paying customer has to say. It is disgraceful how she handled this and I'm absolutely astounded that this woman owns a business and sees her actions as appropriate. I will be sure to tell everybody about this experience in the establishment and outside with the owner who felt it was right to attack and blame an upset customer instead of having a conversation with her.
I have never been to this establishment and I never intend to. My exposure to this business is the owner leaving an unprofessional, inappropriate, rude and inaccurate comment on a post of a very close friend of mine. After a terrible experience by this establishment my friend posted a status. The owner left a comment attacking my friend for her post and blaming her for a comment made by somebody that read the post. She focused more energy on attacking my friend than trying to rectify the experience at her establishment. She even went as far as to say she does not have an interest in my friend returning or any interest in what she has to say.
Food is good. Beer is good. I prefer the patio in the summer to winter indoor dining. It's dark like a wine cellar in the bar and the height of the ceiling was notably low in one section making my guest slightly claustrophobic. When it's busy, service seems backed up. Drinks don't arrive promptly on these occassions but when the proper number of staff is present for the crowd, it is all and all pretty good.
Great place, beautiful decor/ambiance. Very cozy! The Mudsling is definitely my favorite alcoholic drink on the menu, it tastes line a boozy hot chocolate!
A brewpub that has the atmosphere of a local sports bar. The beer and food selections are both really good. We had pulled pork sandwiches and a few burgers and fries. All the food was top notch. I didn't have at beers today, but have in the past and they are well balanced and tasty.
Service is great. Beer is better than it used to be. Food is average but totally fine. Atmosphere is the best. Casual, friendly, familiar. This is a bar people come to for years and years and people often know each other. The deck in the summer is fantastic. I have yet to meet an unfriendly person here.
