Unless you are a serious botanist, the significance of the the Systemic Garden plan will probably elude you. But there is plenty here for any level of plant lover to enjoy. The rock garden is well maintained and lovely to see in early to late spring. The tall (and very old) trees are impressive. You will be amazed by all the varieties of ferns in the shade gardens. These may not be the most manicured gardens you will find, but everything is well-labelled and there are ample pieces of literature and signs to guide you as you explore. The Lyman Plant House is one of the few remaining conservatories in the US built in the 19th century and is home to collections of succulents, ferns, tropical and subtropical plants, and epiphytes, all arranged biogeographically. Those who work with wood will enjoy testing their knowledge in the “Woods of the World Display” located near the restroom. The building is open most days from 8:30 - 4:00 pm. Suggested admission to the conservatory is a mere $2.00. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Northampton area.

Super cool place to go to just got a relaxing afternoon. I was amazed about how many different plants they had... I even knew a few! I also love how it's donation based admission

This was a lovely garden i enjoyed the Venus fly trap plant.I actually saw it in real life

Open to the public, best times to visit are during the Bulb show in spring and the mum show in the fall. No fee, but donations are accepted.

Great place to visit, they don't charge admission, but donations help keep them going. I'm very surprised that they have such good hours 7 days a week. They also have events to look out for, if your interested or if you want to avoid a crowd.
