As a town-center park, it's first-rate. Recent redesign and renovation has made it truly beautiful and accessible, with numerous different types of areas to suit your mood. Table seating, benches, comfy grass areas, a waterfall the fountain - there's even a drinking fountain for dogs.
Always was a great park now even better with the redesign. Great access down the hill, too.
It's just finishing up renovations (Summer of 2017), and it has drastically improved. It has a better vibe and more accommodations for all walks of life. It's in a great central location of Northampton, letting you grab something to bite and brig it here.
