Later, I heard that despite Nuttleman's Florist's location in the lovely gay town of Northampton, Nuttleman's is old-school in creation (which we didn't want), AND in attitude. Perhaps Mr. Nuttleman's cold indifference was really homophobia.
We met with Mr. Nuttleman himself for our wedding flowers. He appeared completely indifferent, uncomfortable, and barely said anything in the 10 minutes we described what we wanted. We tried to bring our enthusiasm to the table; he was unmoved. It seemed like he didn't care. It really didn't feel good to be in his presence. To add support to this claim, we were supposed to receive our estimate after the holidays, and instead, we received it 2 weeks into January.
For our wedding, especially as a lesbian couple, we want people to be excited for us, and we expected that in Noho.
The flowers I ordered on-line last night for my ailing daughter arrived earlier than expected (she lives 10 miles away from the florist) and the quality of the flowers was outstanding. Nuttleman's brought her a lot of cheer this morning, thank you!
Regardless, his customer service skills are truly lacking, and, I would not recommend Nuttleman's to anyone wanting a vibrant, fun wedding flower experience.
A beautiful little shop with a green house look within it. Some of the most beautiful arrangements Ive ever seen!
My Mother passed away in January - all the flowers were lovely and the delivery extremely reliable. The staff was really nice and helpful during our family's grief. (After having read the reviews below, guess they learned their lesson!!)
