As a fashion concious dog owner the wide selection of unique collars and matching leashes really grabbed my attention. We left with some toys as well, and the healthy treat section has really improved our training game. She focuses so well on her tricks for some of her crispy chicken snacks, and I can rest easy knowing they're not loaded with additives.
Excellent service! My chihuahua is a senior pup and has very few teeth left. The staff told me exactly the kind of treat he would enjoy and they were right! He is able to chew the treats without it being an issue and they are healthy for him too!
This was the perfect find for our four-legged fur babies! The store itself is dog friendly, very welcoming and great advice on toys. Our girls LOVE their new toys (see pic). This is a MUST STOP for dog lovers visiting the Northampton area!!
I love unique stock, adorable and healthy treats, and one of a kind fashions, and The Grateful Hound did not disappoint. Well worth a the little extra knowing the products are safe and well made, not to mention encouraging such excellent customer service!
Although we were open to and willing to try their Fluff and Tuff gator chew toy, I am sad to say that the dogs had it opened and guts showing in about 24 hours. So, if you have real chewers as we do, this toy is not the answer. We also bought a $29 collar and cloth flower that she managed to break in no time while chained outside. The flower remains, but the plastic latch on the collar broke in no time.
