Throughout the last 10 years, Florence Hardware has become my go-to hardware store. It’s easy to recognize the significance of this family-run staple of our community. I love that they have kept the old-fashioned feel of the historic building by preserving old features and by offering warm advice as you walk through the door.

You won’t find 30 foot tall ceilings and an entire warehouse full of toilets in their store, but I’ll go out of my way to visit them when I need something for a household repair. And when they don't have whatever I'm looking for in stock, they've always offered to order it for me.
