The Aquatic and Family Center is a fabulous low-cost place to swim. It offers lap swim, open swim, water aerobics, free Sunday senior swim, swimming classes for children, youths, and adults, and birthday party and other rentals. Northampton Area Swimming, a swim team for young people age six through high school, practices here four nights a week. The Northampton High School diving and swim teams also practice here.

The AFC also offers open basketball for adults in the school gymnasium.
